I was at Kota Kinabalu, better known as KK, recently for a family holiday after many years of not going back there due to workload. It was amazing of how the city of KK had developed into a cosmopolitan city with malls, al fresco cafes, established hotels yet still retain it charms as a 'land below the wind'.
Planning a holiday to KK? First, very wise if you book your stay a little bit away from KK city, for example at Cyber City Apartments because if you wish to go to the mall, there is one right across the road and the traffic is not too bad unlike hotels or apartments that are located right smack in the middle of KK city.
Transportation? Be sure that you book or rent a car so that you can visit many places which are located within and outside of KK city.
