Hospital Kuala Lumpur or commonly known as HKL, is now the largest hospital under the Ministry of Health of Malaysia and is considered to be one of the biggest in Asia. It is a government tertiary referral hospital, located on 150 acres of prime land with 83 wards and 2300 beds. HKL has a huge staff of 7 000 workers with almost 100 professions in various fields and disciplines, handling over one million outpatients annually and over 3,300 outpatient cases daily, on average.

If you wish to visit your families or friends who are undergoing their treatment in HKL, you should follow their visiting hours as follow:

Monday to Friday: 12.30pm - 2.00pm and 4.30pm - 7.30pm 

Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 12.30pm - 7.30pm

Visitor should be noted that children below 12 years old are not allowed to visit patient in wards. Do follow their time allowed to plan your visiting time, as you might not wish your beloved one to be disturbed like other patients do.
