Ahmed was always available to answer our questions, prices were always reasonable. He is very easygoing and therefore the perfect host. We loved Kanimeedhoo and we left a piece of our heart there. Visit before it will be sold to a resort! We also thank Mohammed, the chats with him, his precious advice, and the guy who came with him, to the surf trips, he was always helpful. Great company and amazing place to have been.
Finimas residence has been a home for me, two weeks of surfing snorkeling eating and chilling. Ahmed the owner has been great, communicative, friendly and reasonable. Sanjeewa the Chef made delicious food every day: fish, meat, chicken and vegtibles. He is the nicest guy! I would highly recommend this lovely guest house to anyone who wants to enjoy the Maldives and its wonderful natures for a fair price. Thank you for your hospitality! Tahir
We stayed at Finima's house for a week and were warmly welcomed. The hotel and rooms are very simple but clean and it is located near the harbor and the main street with some nice cafes. Our full board at Finnimas turned out to be a great experience. Samjeewa, our chef, created great meals for us from all over the region. The air conditioning throughout the property was a real lifesaver. What impressed us most throughout our stay was Ahmed, who was a great host (even before we boarded the plane) and allowed us to immerse ourselves in the Maldivian way of life. Not only with great surfing, snorkeling and fishing trips, but also with local experiences. He arranged for us to visit the local school, meet locals on every corner, and to top it all off, we were invited to Ahmed's family home for dinner. We really enjoyed this amazing hospitality and were able to get a glimpse of the Maldivian way of life away from the tourist circus. Thank you very much and hope to see you again soon!
I stayed here for two days and was great I didn't have any issues with safety or having the feeling of anything might happen to my personal belongings or office equipment either The owner was super friendly and helped me a lot to achieve the purpose of my visit as well
One of the best experiences ever! Small guest house in a quiet location. The room was spacious and very clean. The food was freshly prepared every day and was always very delicious. But most importantly, the staff was lovely. They helped me with all my questions and concerns and organized my entire trip there and back, which went without incidents. You'll immediately feel at home at Finimas Residence because the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The island is beautiful and you can do a lot of excursions from there (by speedboat many islands can be reached very quickly). There are many possibilities of activities like snorkeling, surfing, fishing, island hopping and many other water sports. I felt very welcome and had a really cool time in this paradisiac place, thank you so much! I hope to come back soon.
