Holiday Inn Veyvah Maldives

I spent 7 nights surfing on Veyvah in August. Nadeem and Naajih took care of everything and were always available for questions. Even before my arrival, Nadeem arranged the transportation, and he also handled the changes needed for my departure due to a storm. Surfing in this area is an absolute dream. I fell in love with the wave Veyvah (Playground). Out of 7 sessions, I was completely alone for 6 of them, and only during one session were there 6 other surfers from a surf safari present. Throughout the entire time, the boat captain waited and kept an eye on me. The value for money is the best you can get for surfing in the Maldives.

What an incredible experience. An authentic holiday in an earthly paradise. We were on the Veyvah island in May 2024 for a cheap surf trip to the now very expensive Maldives islands. Luckily we found this gem. The property is very pretty, with a small garden in the interior sprinkled with tropical plants. The food was plentiful, with great flexibility in meal times. There is a very efficient boat service to the surf and snorkelling spots in about ten minutes. Captain Sun and guide Saddah were very friendly and always tried to accommodate our needs. Nadim and his family are lovely people and will do everything to make you feel at home. Super recommended

Stayed here with my family in 2022 kids aged 12, 15 & 17. Everyone had a great time, the kids loved the fishing and snorkeling all just a short walk from the accommodation and a short boat ride to the surf. A very peaceful and beautiful island. Nadheem was very accommodating host

We planned to stay on another island but we are really happy we stayed in Veyvah Inn. It couldn't be any better! Very good and clean room. Naddhem, the owner, and his family were really helpful and accommodating. The breakfasts were always good and big portions. All the people in Veyvah Island were friendly. Good surf and stunning beach! We had a fantastic time and totally recommend this accommodation! We are going back for sure!

Our stay at Veyvah Inn was exactly what we needed after busy travel days and crowded places. Our host Nadheem was perfect, he helped arrange our speedboat transfers and welcomed us to his island, while remaining a caring host throughout our stay. We felt welcomed by him and felt he always had our interest at heart, checking on us everyday and making sure we knew to contact him if we needed anything at all. It was his care and also the community of Veyvah’s acceptance of us, smiling and greeting us as we walked around each day and evening, that made us feel comfortable and gain an appreciation of their island. The guesthouse was perfect, extremely clean, smelling nice, with clean linens and plenty of towels. The colors are charming, blue tiles and nicely painted, well kept and very welcoming. It was the most natural comfortable guesthouse we stayed in, and had everything that was needed, even a safe. Fresh water was delivered to our door daily which always made us smile and felt looked after. Nadheem has private tours available which I can assure will be very personalized. We went surfing which is always our reason for traveling, and the area has nearby waves with very few other surfers except for passing surf boats. The two cafes were extremely accommodating and welcomed us in each night. They went out of their way to be nice to us and find a rice, noodle, or Kotthu meal to suit our palate. We love the Maldivian breakfast and it was extremely filling and perfectly tasty :) Thank you to both cafes. Veyvah is a place to quietly get to see small island life without the bustle of tourism or businesses. Enjoy long walks along the shore, down the jungle road, through the village streets, see the unique tuna smoking or to one of the oldest mosques in the country. Be patient, quiet, respectful, modest, and the local island will welcome you into their daily lives.
