We loved our stay in Sunset Homestay 2 and extended our stay from 2 nights to 7. Our room with private bathroom was perfectly homely and well furnished. The room was cleaned as requested and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Contact via WhatsApp was very efficient as was the check in process. We were able to store our bags at the homestay overnight during our trip to Bako NP. The communal area was a lovely place to enjoy food and do some work. The price was very reasonable.
Cosy place. You could really see the extra effort put towards this place by the owner. Adelyn is very kind and helpful too! There's limited parking space in front of the building but it is usually not an issue. There's also tents and cars for rent at the property amongst other things. Laundry service is also available for a small fee. There's a local pub downstairs so it is a litttle bit noisy at night but it quiets down before midnight.
Very nice homestay. Friendly staff, basic but clean room and bathroom. Wifi was working good. Located few minutes from center. Fully recommend it.
