Hakuna Matata

Cosy room with natural sunlight and a view of the local street of Carnarvon. The room has a open wardrobe and a working table with an electric kettle. Room is attached with a private bathroom with bidet and electric shower heater unit. Guests are entitled to 1 complimentary coffee (black / white), tea or juice per guest from Hakuna Matata Café (9am-6pm) except on Mondays when the café is closed.

We are running our own café downstairs and our family is living upstairs. Guests do have a private entrance to the rooms as there is a separate staircase to our residence.

We live on the property so if you have any requests we are here to answer them. We enjoy interacting with our guests but we also love to give you full privacy. We are more than willing to share information on famous local food, destination and transportation. We also have a 3 year child in the house and could be a bit merry at times.

Please understand that we are located in the heart of the city where there are still some local market stalls in the street and there could be very early calling of the sounds of the market place.

We have the famous local Chinese restaurant Teksen Restaurant located in the same street. The happening bars, cafes and local street food are all walking distance

There is no private parking and only street parking. There is an open space parking right opposite our place where guests can park their cars overnight with a fee. There is a bus stop located about 2 mins walk from our place.
