Like the location. Hotel is a little dated due to its long history. No lifts so those with heavy luggage must carry it up to room and down when check out. My needs are all met. Hot water , cold aircon , location , affordability.
Good budget hotel and customer service is a big plus. Our room was quite old and we asked to change room, suprisingly they offered upgrade to better room without charge. Location is 1km walking distant to A formosa and Christ church. Opposite have a good Korean-malay style restaurant too. Only if the room was in better condition we would have rate 5. But i understand at this price point, the hotel was good enough. Recommend book pemium room for better experience Note that you will have to walk up down the stair, But it is not too high.
Great value stay in convenient location! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a pleasant stay at Fenix Inn during my visit to Malacca. The staff were incredibly friendly and polite throughout my stay. When I encountered an issue with my initial room, they quickly attended to the problem and provided me with a replacement room without any hassle - excellent customer service! The location is fantastic - surrounded by numerous eateries and massage places, with a cinema within walking distance. Perfect for exploring the local food scene and entertainment options. My room faced the main road with windows, was very clean, and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the WiFi was reliable and fast. While the provided shower amenities weren’t to my personal preference, there’s a local supermarket nearby where I could easily pick up my own shampoo and soap. The hotel is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors (walk-up), so just keep that in mind if you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage. Overall, it’s a solid basic hotel with great service and an unbeatable location. I would definitely consider staying here again on future visits to Malacca. Booked through Agoda and the experience matched expectations perfectly. Highly recommended for travelers looking for good value accommodation in the heart of Malacca!

Clean, comfortable and budget friendly! Really close to mall and restaurant, also to hospital. They have FREE drinking water. 😍
