Hotel Seri Malaysia Pulau Pinang

We made an impromptu stop in Penang and was searching for a hotel for the night. After thorough consideration, we picked this hotel because of it's value. We got a queen bed with breakfast at RM212. For us this is very suitable and affordable. We got a spacious room to accommodate our family of 4, a queen bed just enough for us and our two toddlers, an ironing set, decent size of bathroom with good water pressure, basic ammenities, a mini fridge, extra pillow, a prayer mat, free parking and breakfast. Though there are still rooms for improvements: 1. Lift service or at least bell boy assistance to bring our luggages up to the third floor. We came in around 9pm with our toddlers in hands, tired and still had to climb up 3 sets flights of stairs. Hope management can consider installing lifts or maybe have the bellboys on standby near the entrance to help with this matter. 2. Toilet lighting was a bit too dim. 3. Security wise, the locks at the entrance door was only at the handle. The latch was missing a pair. 4. Breakfast spread was too humble. Coming in you'll be greeted by the cereal station with only 2 options of cereal and a milk jar (everything tasted too subtle, not much flavour), then the bread station with white bread, a toaster, butter, jams, and kaya. Fruit available was only orange. A mushroom soup section (tasted 👍🏻), then a scramble egg and mixed salad section with bowl of thousand island (maybe), fried noodles and a nasi lemak station. Far towards the end was the hot drinks station. All in all, the breakfast spread could use more varieties and improvement on taste.

1. The front staff was really attentive and responsive. They actually read my request and gave us a room close to the parking lot for my elderly parents — really appreciated that. 2. The room was okay overall. I'm not picky since it's just a short trip and the price is cheap. The room smelled nice too. But the bathroom was a bit smelly, so that part could be improved. I didn't take the breakfast, so no comments on that.

This room is Ground floor ,no sure got lift or not, space enough for 3 people, tv just local channel, the toilet door got space it may air cond go in when your shower, quite cool. Hair dryer need requests with staff, got small fridge, air cond direct face to bed, hard to sleep.C Got room service for order food and drink, My room no include breakfast. Got iron in room, veryconvenience. Overall is ok, just aircondm cause sleep no well.

Good location, good amenities around, good food within walking distance. Recommended for business travellers who has events at nearby SPICE Arena. Breakfast selection was average for this type of hotel. Room was clean and private parking space is available within the hotel compound.
