Overall: Excellent value for money - finally found a new, clean, and reasonably priced stay in Cameron Highlands that comfortably fits 4 guests (or even more). Will definitely stay here again Service: Staffs were warm, welcoming, and quick to respond to any requests Accommodation: Stayed in the Balsam unit, exactly as advertised. It includes a living area, dining space, kitchen, and two bedrooms. For the price, it’s a great deal. Mornings come with a view of mist-covered clouds and a beautifully maintained garden. Guests can also opt for the breakfast buffet at Lemon button cafe. Location: Peaceful setting away from the crowds, yet just minutes from popular attractions. Conveniently close to Gold Hill, Cameron Highland Retreats, and Brinchang town - home to many steamboat restaurants. Booking Tip: Direct booking with the property may offer discounted rates. Note: Hot water supply in the shower may run low with high water flow, but reducing the flow helps keep the temperature warm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rose Cottage – Balsam Unit under De’La Ferns Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience for me and my family. 1. The People Special thanks to Ms. Ida from the Sales Department who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She went above and beyond to make my baby’s cake smash dream in Cameron Highlands a reality. She personally arranged everything for us and ensured all details were well taken care of. Even when I messaged her late at night with confirmations, she responded quickly and reassured me with patience and professionalism. She is truly an asset to the hotel and one of the main reasons our stay was so special. 2. The Accommodation We stayed at the Rose Cottage – Balsam Unit. The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and offered beautiful garden views. The unique design of the property makes it stand out as a charming stay in Cameron Highlands. A couple of suggestions for improvement: • The door locks inside the rooms need maintenance (one master bedroom door couldn’t be closed, and the second room lock could easily be pushed open even when locked). • The hot water supply wasn’t strong enough, which made showering in the cool weather a bit challenging. Adding hot & cold water taps for the sink in both the kitchen and washroom would also greatly enhance convenience. These are just small suggestions, but I believe they would make a meaningful difference for future guests. 3. Location The location is excellent — strategic, convenient, and easy to get around to all the nearby attractions. 4. Event Space Rose Cottage is a beautiful spot for any special event. I held my baby’s cake smash photoshoot here and the setting was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you again to Ms. Ida for arranging this and also to the Hotel Managing Director for granting us permission — the result was simply beautiful. 5. Breakfast Breakfast was simple and basic, but honestly, that’s all we needed. Most tourists, including myself, prefer to have something light at the hotel before exploring the many food options available around Cameron Highlands. It served its purpose well. Overall I highly recommend Rose Cottage at De’La Ferns for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient, and memorable stay in Cameron Highlands. My heartfelt gratitude goes especially to Ms. Ida for her dedication and support. I hope my developmental feedback can be considered for future improvements. Well done, De’La Ferns team! Great place, u can spend time with your family. Lovely place

Located behind Hotel de la Ferns. The atmosphere and vibes is so nice and relaxing. We stayed in Balsam suite (2bedroom) and the unit was so cozy and nice. Has functional smart tv with wifi. Kitchen is complete with appliances and utensil for light cooking. Waterpressure is good for showering. Highly recommended. The scones at the hotel cafe was so delicioussss!!

My 3rd time here. Close to the main road, very convenient to go around. Lovin the environment, decent breakfast and the greenery building. They have renovated the cafe now called Lemon Button. Will come back next next year 😊
