CampRED @ Berjaya Hills

I recently had a camping trip at CampRED and here are my thoughts: Pros: 1. The campsite is very clean, including the toilets which also have hot showers. 2. There are recycling bins for plastic and tin, which is a great touch. 3. The CO is very helpful and takes great care of the sites. 4. There were no bugs, only a few mosquitoes, and in the morning, we saw quite a few butterflies. 5. They provided sponges and dishwashing detergent at the sink, which was very convenient. 6. A waterfall is just 5 minutes walk away, adding to the natural beauty of the location. 7. It was pleasantly cold at night, especially because it was cloudy on the first day, making the afternoon quite cool as well. Cons: 1. The campsite is near the main road, so there is some noise from passing cars. Fortunately, not many car pass by, so the noise is acceptable. 2. I booked the chipping stone camp plot, but it had a lot of grass growing on it. 3. There are a house/chalet beside the campsite at the top of thr hill, possibly owned by someone else. The people staying there likely foreign workers, were doing karaoke at night abd in the morning. It wasn't very loud, but it was noticeable because our campsite was otherwise quiet. Nighttime noise was acceptable, but early morning noise was quite annoying. Recommendstions: 1. Clear the grass from the chipping stone plot. 2. Make clear signs for the camp plots. Despite the minor inconveniences, I had a great experience and will definitely visit again.

CampRED has all you need, from well maintained camp grounds, clean environment, spacious and well placed camping lots?(some spots catches nice morning light!) mine was tier 1A i think? But i place my front the other way 😅 CampRED also has a few trails(almost 1KM) you can walk/run, water fall is 500m away from camp that comes with a fairly steep climb back, and they shut the lights out at night which is nice coz camping where got light in the jungle?! But the toilet lights and small fairy lights are up to guide your way from camp And the most important part of the experience; the caretaker, Mr Ari. Just have a chat, get to know him and the place! The rest is up to you to make your experience there better! He’ll be around to monitor but never intrusive! He also loves tea! Second most important part; the toilet is the cleanest and they have a hot shower! 👌🏼there are a few house rules/tips by the sink i highly recommend reading. There’s a few tiers more being prepared including a 4x4/Van campers to enjoy in the future! As usual, take your trash out but you can leave your food waste there for Mr.Ari to compost. You can also leave balance of the supplies instead of throwing them away. Do drop by Kampung Bukit Tinggi to eat on your way back so you can also throw the trash behind KKMart. 🤣 Definitely coming back!

We had an awesome stay! Everything is wonderful with clean toilet, nice camping base, electrical point and they even have a fridge! The waterfall nearby is awesome too! Overall its perfect!

The location is ideal, came here for 4d3n end of march, the CO is friendly and very responsible. Day time it can get quite hot during this dry season, but i think its still bearable as the area are mostly surrounded by greens. Overall its a very peaceful, quiet, clean, simple and nice, campsite. I will revisit for sure.

CampRED just became my #1 camping spot. Probably one of most well-managed campsites within an hour from Klang Valley! CO Ari was phenomenally attentive and present throughout our 4 days stay. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - CO Mr. Ari is around most of the time and he takes really good care of the campsite. Accommodating & warm! - Plots are clearly delineated and all the plots were clear of any small debris / trash left behind by campers. - Plots have well-cared grass and solid / level ground - Ari makes sure to water the grass and trees regularly so there's no bald patches in the grass. - The campsite had proper drainage. However the grassland may still pond up temporarily during hard rains, be realistic with your expectations as you're going into nature after all. - Toilet had a slipper-change policy so this limits the amount of sand & dirt that get into the toilet. Very very clean by campsite standards. Water heater available. - They also try to stick to sustainable practices like recycling cans and plastic. Food waste is to be disposed in the compost bin. There is no shared rubbish bin. - Just a 5-min easy hike away is a beautiful and majestic waterfall that is only accessible by campers. - Plenty of big logs deposited that can be used for campfire - make sure to bring sufficient tools to saw and split the logs. - Pet friendly during weekdays but do observe certain restrictions like no pee & poo on plots, pick up after your pets too. Do communicate with management in advance when you're booking. - Little to no flies & mosquitoes. However there are small black ants that make their little ant highways - just make sure to pay attention not to be in their paths as they do bite (stings a little but no swelling and itching) - It does get hot during the days but light breezes blow all day long. Bring enough water & stay under the shades and you'll be fine. We (2 humans & 3 animals) went through 25 litres over 4 days. Or you know... Just go lepak at the waterfall all day. Recommended!
