NOPUNGGUK HOMESTAY strategically located 29 km from Kota Belud town, with only 1 hour 30 minutes drive from Kota Kinabalu City. This homestays were located near to three villages, Kg. Gansurai, Kg. Podos and Kg.Tinata.
The name of Nopungguk Homestay refer to nearest hill called "Nopungguk Hill" which lies at an altitude of about 3000m above sea level. The paranomic view of the mountains and the rivers are magnificent. Beautiful nature can be seen here and you can find various plant species, including wild orchids, refflesia, nepenthes plant, pitcher plants and various species of insects and animals. Paddy fields can also be seen in many parts of the villages.
The life of native Dusun people noticeable in their traditional dance called "Tigol, Sumazau and Saradang". Variety of traditional foods can be tested too. They used resources from the forest to make crafts, using tree bark to form rope, thread any many interesting souvenirs such as baskets.
