By JeeShen Lee - May 15, 2015 (Last Updated May 10, 2019)
Malaysia is set to be host to the first ever tethered balloon ride in the world to be built over water, when the Skyrides Festivals Park is launched on April in Putrajaya.

ZONE A: SkyRides Balloon

The SkyRides Balloon is the largest helium balloon of its kind to be hosted in Malaysia. Climbing to a steady ascend of 30 metres per minute, it offers astonishing unimpeded panoramic views of the Putrajaya skyline encompassing the magnificent Prime Minister’s office and federal administrative complexes, the Floating Mosque, all five iconic bridges linking the “island” to the “mainland”, the Millennium Tower and extending beyond more than 50 kilometres all around.

Its gondola holds 30 passengers at any one time. Skyrides Balloon allows you to enjoy a 360-degree walk around the gondola to watch the mesmerising views of Putrajaya from 150 metres up in the sky.

Ticket of Skyrides Ballon : MyKad - Adult MYR 38 and Kid MYR 30      Non-MyKad - Adults MYR 68 and Kid MYR 60.

ZONE B: SkyWarrior

You've seen it on one of TV's all-time top-rated obstacle challenge course series, now experience it firsthand with all the intensity, thrills and splashes right into the lake at SkyWarrior. A competition-level obstacle course, SkyWarrior is just about the most physically-demanding and challenging course that's ever built here in Malaysia.

Consisting a set-up of varying difficulty sets like the "Cilik Falls" featuring a cross-stretch challenge across running water to the "Ferrata Kinabalu", feturing a walled face-scaling challenge and the ultimate, the "Pahlawan Valley", a jump stretching the height of 5 metres, all the challenge sets at SkyWarrior are named after Malaysia's star natural attractions.

Ticket of Skywarrior : MYR 10 with unlimited tries.

ZONE C: SkyDemo and ZONE F: SkyGallery

Can't get enough of the SkyRide Festivals Park? Well, there's something you can always bring home with you from the SkyGallery, Skyride Festival Park's only original merchandise store. Must-gets here include the SkyRide Balloon miniature sets as well as Malaysian mementos and crafts. Also look out for their "Promotional Items" with discounts that offer more bangs for your buck.

A host of artisans and craftsmen are on site to lend a guiding hand in honing your skills as well as to introduce you to the finer points in good craft-making.  SkyDemo is a great place for family-bonding time and for the preservation of our colourful but fast fading customs and traditions.
